Mark Coleman, editor of NoPoliticalLabels.com, has been a journalist for more than 30
years. He has worked for daily, weekly,
bi-weekly, and monthly publications, as well as in radio and television. He
also has served as an officer for the Society of Professional Journalists and the Free Press Association.

He has a bachelor's degree in Communication from Florida State
University and a master's degree in Communication from the University of Hawaii. He also is a past Davenport Fellow in Business and Economic Reporting at the University of Missouri.
Currently Mark Coleman is a copy editor, page designer
and columnist at the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, which partly due to
his efforts has had a stylebook rule since 1992 that prohibits, with few exceptions, political labels in the newspaper's reporting.
